Therapy and Counseling in Cedar Rapids, IA

Evergreen Therapy Center’s Cedar Rapids office sits on Collins Road N.E., just off Highway 100 on the northeast side of the city. Seven licensed therapists see clients here, and most also offer telehealth if getting to an appointment in person is difficult.

We work with adults, couples, teens, children, and families. Some people come to us in the middle of something acute — a loss, a diagnosis, a relationship falling apart. Others have carried the same low-grade weight for years and finally have the space to look at it. Both are reasons to start.

New clients are welcome, and you don’t need a referral.

bereavement, anticipatory grief, and losses that don’t get formally acknowledged, such as divorce, estrangement, or losing your health.

Insurance and payment

We accept Blue Cross and Wellmark, Cigna, Health Partners, Medicare, and Midlands Choice. We also see private-pay clients, and we’re happy to provide the paperwork you need for out-of-network reimbursement.

If you’re not certain what your plan covers, ask us. Insurance language around mental health is genuinely confusing, and we’d rather sort it out before your first session than after.
